Expanding the kitchen footprint posed plumbing challenges, notably with the kitchen meter obstructing a wall slated for removal. Coordinating with Con Edison, we safely relocated the meter. Installing a new washer/dryer combo in a tight space required meticulous planning to run utilities effectively. Transforming a prewar maids' bathroom into a contemporary space, we installed a mechanical fan for ventilation. Lowering the powder bathroom ceiling facilitated vent installation for the washer/dryer without exterior penetration. Additionally, we cleverly integrated both the dryer and powder bathroom fan into a custom-built soffit, seamlessly blending functionality with design.
